CRICKET CAN BE A CRUEL GAME TO A BATSMAN!
"Hit for 6" allows the batter to practice in a fast repetitive fashion. The flexible rod, from which the ball hangs, will not tangle around anything. When practicing batting with "Hit for 6" the ball travels in a smooth and fast swinging motion which simulates the path a ball that would travel towards a batsman when bowled from a bowler. The ball will continually return towards the batsman for continuous fast repetitive batting practice while encouraging and improving defensive, fast and skillful foot placement for the batsman.
The outdated "ball-on-a-string" from years gone by gave the practicing batter nothing but unrealistic and very slow, boring batting practice with the string frequently becoming entangled, or the ball bouncing and jerking on the string. This prevented the batsman from achieving fast non-stop practice.
Imagine looking forward to a cricket game against another team, you have been out on the ground most of day fielding and then it's your team's turn to bat. You wait for your turn and instead of going out for a "duck" you face and defensively play ball after ball as a result of practicing with "Hit for 6". Cricket no longer need be "a cruel game to a batsman".
DESIGN & USE:
The solid flexible rod with cricket ball attached has been specifically designed to give you the opportunity to sharpen your skills in hand-eye co-ordination, foot movement and ultimately, your batting ability. You can use "Hit for 6" on your own or with a coach in the absence of an organized game. It is also useful in Cricket Club rooms to help any batsman get his/her eye inline with the ball and generally warm-up prior to going out to bat for their team.
The unique "Hit for 6" solid-flexible rod and ball design was inspired by the fact that there was nothing else like it available in the marketplace. It is extremely useful and enjoyable for children, budding players or established players wanting to maintain and improve their hand-eye co-ordination and batting skills in general.
